She says;
It has been a while since I last blogged.
I guess it is also due to the fact that I’m living in a fast pace environment that time seemed to just fly.....
Remember my post on exercising/running back in July?
I haven’t been running since! :p
I have so many reasons to give!!
In August was busy with the fasting mth and I consoled myself saying that well,
I did lose 2-3kg and I was happy.
I did lose 2-3kg and I was happy.
Then September came and slowly the weight starts to pile on...and now it’s already OCTOBER!!
I know, I should start on my workout regime again! J
I am aware and I will!
But apart from that, I chance upon an article online and found ways to lose lbs and I find interesting. I mean apart from working out, you gotta eat right but there’s more to eating...hehe..
I am not one to go on crazy diet but I can make adjustments to the food that I eat.
Anyways, the article that I was reading was not just talkin abt the food that you should eat but HOW you should eat your food.
Eat slowly, and you can lose weight permanently.
I try not to rush my meals but really sometimes, you just don’t have the time....
Also, you love your food and cannot control the urge to eat as fast as ever.
Hahahaha...
It is said that THIN people eat slowly in general.
It takes anything up to 20 minutes for the brain to recognize the feeling of satiation after eating before your body is cognizant of this fact.
This means that when your stomach is full, your brain has not yet told you about this fact. You will continue to eat which is not only a bad habit but is also likely to see you consume an extra 100 to 200 calories per meal.
That is not a good habit to continue.

Instead of enjoying the food, learn to enjoy EATING.
Take the time you need to fully enjoy and eat your food.
Try to eat things that have a wholesome flavour or interesting textures, looks and smells. Food can be exciting if you want it to be.
Then you enjoy the process of eating rather than the quick satiety you previously desired. Before long you will become accustomed to this new way of thinking and, therefore, the new way of eating.

There are ways you can eat more slowly.
First, tell yourself you are going to do it.
Make the effort and don't expect to finish before others.
Chat and talk while you are eating.
Chew your food for longer and put your knife and fork down whilst you are chewing.
