We went to the Verge shopping mall, the one beside Farrer Park MRT station

and decided to dine in at the Banquet foodcourt.

The moment we reached there, I quickly zoomed to this stall!!

Their ban mian noodles broth is super yummy and the staff actually cooked only when orders are placed.

The noodles are soft yet springy. They are generous with the ingredients.

The meat are generous and the anchovies are crunchy.

Super duper YUMMYLICIOUS!

I ate this with a spoonful of cili padi...so super shiok LAH!

But up till now, I still feel the stinging pain and how raw it is.

But I'm gonna let it heal with the past...

Spinach Lasagna from...

She says;

Yesterday was my 2nd day back to work and while the pain is still there,

I brace myself and continue on working.

I was practically super drained by the time the clock strike 6pm.

I was so hungry and both he and I decided to go for dinner somewhere near home.

We decided to go to NEX.

The newest mall located beside the Serangoon MRT station.

It's a huge ass complex!!

There are so many eateries to try but for now, we settled on SWENSENS.

Here's what we ordered other then the must have Coit Towers;

I ordered the spinach lasagna and he ordered some pizza.

The lasagna was interesting but no doubt yummy!

Really love the tomato sauce that is served with the lasagna....yikes...I'm craving for more! :p

It's a warm Thursday afternoon.

I've decided to fry some banana fritters or otherwise known as pisang goreng!

This Malay snack of goreng pisang (banana fritters) have found fans from all races in Singapore.

The deep-frying helps caramelize the natural sugars in the bananas, making them even sweeter than before. Some Chinese versions have unusually delicate and puffy batter.
I love mine crunchy and served with salty soy sauce mixed with cili padi,

Johor style and a cup of hot tea.
The taste is a lil sweet, salty, spicy...yum!

2010 has been an interesting ride and quite scary to be honest too.

I spent the last 2 weeks of December checked into a very hospitable place...

None other than the hospital itself... Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

I am back home now, well and in stiches...literally..heh..

But yeah, on the road to recovery. :)

I will blog on that later...

But here, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! :)
